Why We Built chiliad
I have been working in PPC for over 13 years. For most of that time, Google Ads scripts were my secret weapon โ small pieces of code that automate the tedious parts of account management so you can focus on strategy.
The problem? Managing scripts at scale is a nightmare.
The Copy-Paste Problem
When you manage 5 accounts, copy-pasting a script into each one is fine. When you manage 50, it becomes a full-time job. Update a script? You need to manually update it in every single account. Miss one? Good luck debugging that at 2am when a client calls about unexpected changes.
I lived this reality at agencies and as a freelancer. Every PPC professional I talked to had the same frustration. Yet nobody was building a solution.
Why Not Just Use Google's Built-In Tools?
Google Ads has a script editor built into every account. It works fine for a single account. But there is no way to:
- Deploy the same script to multiple accounts with one click
- Track which version of a script is running where
- Get alerted when a script fails across accounts
- Manage scripts as a team with proper access controls
MCC-level scripts help with some of this, but they have their own limitations โ and most advertisers are not comfortable writing MCC code.
Building What I Wished Existed
chiliad is the platform I wanted for years. A single dashboard where you can:
- Store all your scripts in one place with version history
- Deploy to any account with a generated loader โ no more copy-pasting
- Monitor every execution across every account in real time
- Get failure alerts via email, Slack, or in-app notifications
- Collaborate with your team with proper workspace management
The name "chiliad" comes from Ancient Greek, meaning "a group of one thousand." Because managing Google Ads at scale means orchestrating thousands of scripts, accounts, and executions โ and that is exactly what we help you do.
What is Next
We are just getting started. The script marketplace already has free automation scripts you can install with one click, and we are building toward AI-powered script generation, cross-account analytics, and more.
